i have had 2 quotes so far for my nova from two different companies but was wandering wat if any1 has had any problems with either of th two

first was CIS insurance which ?900

2nd was LV at ?600

both were on a 1.2 fully comp, no claims bonus

do both companies allow bodykits alloys etc?

i plan on going for th ?600 one but wasnt sure if they were a good company to use or not, thot i wud ask on here if sum1 has had any problems with th companies

if u plan an engine conversion CIS will prob not touch you and LV is a "grey" area

other than that shud be fne!

How old are you mate,
?600 with 0ncbs seems quite good on a 1.2.
Fully comp.
LV always seem to provide the lowest quotes.

turned 19 at end of march, always been on my mums insurance so never built up no claims.

i thot ?900 was a good quote wen got off cis, thn wen got quote from LV i was well chuffed. :D

yes :D



No, CIS don't. They say they only charge extra for engine mods, but (to cut a long story short) when i put it in writing to them to cover my own back in the event of a claim, they told me they'd put my car up two groups because of the bodykit.

how can they do tht wen thy say if u dnt have performance enhancing mods thy wont charge u any more. so do u not get tht problem with LV, want to be able to have all th stuff fitted to th car covered

Best bet is to get it in writing from the insurance company, then when you take out the policy make sure all your mods are listed, again make sure its all written on the policy.

was problem driving for 2 yrs with cis unisured then
