View Full Version : :...Baffle...:
My mates baffle on his exhaust (on his Nova) is rattling like f*ck (well I think its the baffle)...aint had a chance to have a good look at it yet but I know that when I push the tailpipe up from underneath with my foot it stops rattling.
Could this be the baffle or a bracket catching somewhere or a pipe?
Also, if it is the baffle can it be 'fixed' in any way to stop it rattling?
Cheers lads
Is it banging against the spare wheel well, thats what normally happens. It bangs against the lower parts of the floor.
Corroded baffle sounds like sand shaking about in the exhaust.
hmmm...don't sound like that...its like a tinny noise (like metal to metal)
Is it the handbrake cable rattling on the exhaust? About half way down the exhaust there is an "S" shaped clip. This can sometimes work its way loose and begin rattling on the exhaust.

if its lowered the backbox can end up resting against the spring
