help me ive bin told by about 4shops that a good offset for a vauxhall is 42-45 but da haynes max power nova book says 49 and sum peeps on nova load says 49 so can sum1 tell me wat is da best offset coz i need to no as i am gettin new 195/50/15's and lowerin it 40mm butn i dont wana do any arch work so i need da right offset so plz can sum1 tell me :!:

The vauxhalll offset is 49, people tend to say stay with 45-49 and you should be O.K

i was led to belive the offset was et49 but when i took my gsi alloys off i noticed et47.5 stamped on them..??

wasn't there two versions of the standard alloys, one was et49 and the other et47.5...?

ste, that would explain why my alesios scrape on gsi brake caliper..
