Just arrived in the post today... 2 of webbers famous 40 DCOE 151's!

Very nice Keith, but there not proper webbers until there covered in petrol/oil ;)

Dont think i'll be at any show's this year.. i'd need a loan to finish it in time for silverstone, and i dont like loans, so i may just keep working till i'm happy!

Ahh i remember when my carbs looked that new, you really do see what you get for your money with a set of webbers.

Hope you can get it ready for trax mate, would be a shame to see you on the sidelines again.

Stand them on their inlet manifold face - get 4 tea lights, place them in the ram pipes - there you have it - a lovely pair of double candles to spruce up any living room!!

wish mine were that sparkly and clean. Tried cleaning them the other day but they just look the same, plus one of my trumpets has fallen off, they are looking very sorry at the moment :(

what else do you need to get to get them on the car then...linkages etc...

Need linkages, fuel pump, regulator, and inlet manifold.

Steven got me a manifold for ?80, i think new they cost ?160 or so.. Just need to gather up the rest now too!

I'll be running a piper 285 cam too.. Anyone any guess as to the final BHP?

Concidering it'll be a brand new engine, and not a 18 year old shagged one. I'm expecting 110bhp..

keith mate they look wicked , i absolutley love you car was goin thruogh some png mags other night and it was in it rfom trax 2002 and it just keeps gettin better :D

Trust me Keith the stereo will be gathering dust once you fire up those Weber 40's - the sound is to die for - so addictive you just HAVE to give it more rice for the noise they make!!!
