The car rolled 4 times and Porkie (lee), Martin's co driver was thrown out of the car (didn't have his harness on at the time) and was badly bruised and needed 100 stitches. Both are ok and a recovery truck is on it's way out to Africa for the car tomorrow.
It was a shame because they were one of the last to set off out of 180 cars and were in the top 30 cars by the time the got to Africa. The new engine was loosening up nicely and they had only just turned it up from 21 psi to full boost (36ish). The car was running spot on and had no issues despite continuous hard driving from the start in Paris to Africa and a top speed run at 8500rpm in 5th (something over 200mph) and wasting an Enzo and Murcialargo (sp) while running low boost.
