Nurburgring (The CRASH!)

Oh Dear.... theres always one isn't there!

First lap started out all right.... the car looked like this

Second lap... well lets just say it concerned going sideways towards a workman on the track........Errr... that will be an hour ban then... Doh!!!!!

Then the third and final lap! oh and what a lap.... The first half was great... on the limit stuff following Karl.... overtaking plenty. Then it went pair shaped. First I lost a cylinder... Stopped at the side of the track and found it was just a plug lead had come off.
So then as we had lost the cars we were with.... We decided to just enjoy the last 1/3 of the lap we had on the "Ring"... Bit of backend out action I thought was needed.

BAD IDEA! At first it was good stuff... drifting round (thanks to my rear brake bias).... But then I had to go that little to far and over cook it on a left hander at about 80mph.

And this was the result! The track had well and truely been Christened by the Nova :D

Luckily It was just a glancing blow as I spun.... so it didn't stop me from driving home. Even though the Rad was damaged and leaking.

And the best part is i've got it all on Video!!!!!

I won't be forgetting this track for a while!!!!

Cheers for the offer Keith.... But i've already been to the scrappy and sorted another one.

Yes it is just Cosmetic luckily..... I've already straightened the front, just got to get a new wing and weld the intercooler mounts again.... and it'll be ready for some more abuse. :D

Hopefully the Bumper and wing will be on for the 23rd May (NV v RB) But chances are they'll all be different colours :oops:
