any1 suggest a good cam 4 my 1.3sr? :? ive got a 32/34 weber on her n a sportex bk box apart from that engine wise shes standard!

A 1.4SR cam has the highest lift of all the cams. Put an 1.4SR in and it should give a slight power increase.

a mate of mine has a 1.3sr head on his 1.4sr his head was knackered n i had the 1.3 lyin around so he wacked it 4 the time being n recons its made now difference what so ever!

how much do you want to spend mate?

you could stick a 1.4 SR cam in it because as stated it is pretty good and best of the standard cam's and cheap...

or you could spend ?250 or more on a Piper/Kent 285/AST2 job...

my engines running a piper 285cam, it seemed to have a good power range. That of course was when my car started :lol:

if you want to stay on hydralic followers. use a 285piper and swing the timing on dyno.

If you fancy a good solid follower one, then I use a Crane profile, but you need a shim grinder to set the clearances.
