1.5td rev limiter

i have a 1.5 td (1990 mk1) was wondering if it has a rev limiter fitted as standard, (or do i need to be a bit more cautious when reving it that high!), im sure later novas will but does mine?

also (if it does) at what RPM does it kick in? the red line seems to be at about 5100 but then theres a little dot at about 5200!?!

there isn't a rev limit as such but a fuel limet cuts in at 5300 rpm on the 1.5 td but my 1.7 td revs to about 6.3 with power - very awesome engine when tuned!!!!!!

is there a limiter on 1.2 F reg? i doubt there is, at bout 5100rpm it starts shakin! is this good for the engine/box??

sorry - assumed it was injection, it will break rockers at 63mph in 2nd, well my mates did anyway , sounded ace on 3 cylinders
