oil leak

i have got a bloody oil leek on my C20LET engine it is coming from the drivers side of the engine......the main place it looks like it is coming from is the sandwich plate between the oil filter and the block....it has the two oil cooler pipes going to it.....is this a common place for the oil to leek or would it be coming from somewhere else?

need to do asap before me brand new drive is buggered.
