Probably not legal
i.e: you'll need a red fog lamp and red reflectors.
Also, they could have over ordered and want to get rid of them. Perhaps clear rears are going out of style?

no clear rears are legal unless u stick the red reflectors u get with them on top o the lights but they are shite!
so for the legal side cheap ones will be fine
all this emark or non emark crap is bollocks
you dont need an emark to pass it thru an mot, it says so in the mot tester book.
if u get a mot tester who wont pass it, swap for standard after al its a 10 min job!!
50 sounds good they are normally 100+
i sold a set for 70 2nd hand at trax "emarked" and all

i mean are the smoked rear lights illegal?
i think there r some legal ones it all depends on how much light they emit

who knows what rear lights are legal, apart from standard
who knows what rear lights are legal, apart from standard
NONE
they always have summit missing from them.Reflectors/Coloured bulbs etc.
The smoked ones are tested by the light they emit, it depends on which copper pulls you over though to what the outcome is.

If you bought a proper set of e-marked rears, they should have come with some red reflectors (about 1" x 3" in size) which should stick over the bit on the lights that is clear plastic with no bulb behind it.

i just wanna say, what a stupid f***ing idea, having f***ing clear lights to mod your car, but they're illegal!!!!!!!! are they actually illegal? can you get pulled for having them on? or do they just not go through the MOT?
there legal if
the brake and sidelight emits a red light
the indicators have to flash amber
reverse light has to be white but not part of mot test i know cos ive had a blue bulb in mine and passed every time
the fog light must emit a strong red light and reflectors have to be stuck on altho ive never fitted reflectors and mines passed mot and ive never been stopped by the police
Well technically all modded clusters are illegal, clear/smoked/red.
Some people have got pulled for them, it just depends which copper pulls you and how dark etc the smoked types ones are.
As for clear they need the red reflectors and so are only legal with them fitted.
Apart from just clusters with all correct colours/reflectors etc then the rest are illegal.
But you would be unlucky to be fined or anything for fitting them.

LOL, calm down dude  You think thats bad. I just watched a documentry on Street Racing out in the states and they get fined for having performance air filters, having there cars too low, etc. If the police deem the car too modified they will impound it for 30days and charge the owner the daily impound charge for those 30days! They will only release it if the owner de-modifiers or provides a certificate that says the modification fits in with regulations.
When things get modified, theres a strong chance it will not be 100% legal or fit in with regulations. Thats the game that we play unfortunatley. Some things look good but are not legal, somethings make our cars faster, but push us over the emissions limit. It's part and parcel of modifying im afraid.

well i got the rear light today from that site and they are a good quality cant complain and they are e-marked so a good buy as far as im concerned but there was a 10 pound P&P charge thought that was a bit steep as they dont weigh anything but still well cheap and worth every penny
So they are a bargain then :D
