F15 into a carbed 1.2????

As above, My car needs a 5th gear and I've been offered a F15 gearbox. Will it fit straight in, if not which box is best?

the F15 should fit fine and if its cheap or free u may as well utilise it

plus if u want another gear theres no point shoving a CR box in as the 5th in the cr box is the same as your existing 4th unless it has a long final drive (some F15CR's have 3.55 so they'd be fine)

F15 won;t fit. If u got a 4-speed its either ar 1.0 or 1.2.

F 15 u need bigger flywheel/clutch.

Go with an F10/5 speed. They are good.

Or for a bit more sporty feel (but less top end(this won't matter in a 1200/1000)) a F13CR
