gotta change my ball joints.

anything i should particularly look to buy?

dont want to spend arm and a leg on anything bomb proof.

not after anything special really. dont spose there is anything ultra special to buy???

will unipart or local motorfactors do?

how much can i expect to pay

know the feeling mike. just done the camber mod tracking ball joints polly bushes and wheel bearings. so now hopefully the tyres will last a bit linger. lol

depends if you are gonna be checking the standard ones every time u go on the track.... i've seen a couple fail and it wrecks the wing, inner wing and door..... have you toughend up the rest? plate kit, plated arms, lower tie bars etc etc

im in the process of doing it at the moment, im not sure how far to go with the welding, as its only a 1600 16v on throttles which should put less stress around the bay than a 20xe

infact ste i know your the nova picture master :lol:, have you got any pics of a bay while being welded, jus so i can see the areas that need it the most. Ive got the competition build manual, but it doesnt seem that specific

weld everything as per the book..... its not just the weight... i had to do a repair job on my 1.4 due to the lowness and my driving style

the seam for the wing and turret was done by charles

cheers for that mate, outlines a few of the key areas, next question, does anyone fancy doin a bit of stitch welding for me :wink: . Its gonna cost me a forune to get it done properly because welding and painting are the only two things that i dont do to my own car
