Hi guys, i posted some progress photos about a month ago, just thought i wud update them as the the car is at the moment.
I think the front bumper needs to be bigger, what do you think?

What do you mean by the front bumper being bigger, do you mean the big-mouth part?

no i think the mouth is fine, i just think the hole bumper needs to be changed for something bigger. i like the back a lot but the front just needs sumot else, not sure what yet tho.

Yeah i get what you mean about the dront bumper, the back looks so wild with the massive exhausts, it makes the front look a little plain.
Still looks sound though!

Yep its the abyss front bumper, it is fibre glass and doesn't fir right, it took me a week of nights and the weekend to make it fit and add two side parts so there wasn't a big gap between the bumper and the head lights. i have a laguna splitter for the fron but its not on yet. can't put anything bigger like a ibiza one on cos there are speed bumps on my works drive.

ye was gunna paint the car in peageot deep metalic red, then thought about split colours of anthracite at the bottom and the met red at the top, but think i will go for all met red again, money is an issue.
I have some novadose skirts to go on but first have to sort out the rear arches so i can mould skirts into the car.

alright mate how did u get the front bumper to fit right coz i got a big gap like u said u had. did u have to cut it down? :?

no i had to add a lip on up inder the head lights, my grille does site over the bumper but the side parts needed to be added using aluminium mesh fibre glassed in place and then using filler build it up to the right level.

have a look at this, its not the best photo but if you look closely you shud be able to see where the grille covers it and the added bit goes under the light.

are u sure it wernt made for the mk2 nova because i have this bumper and i got the mk2 one and it had gaps under lights.

it did have a gap between the light and the bumper so i added 2 side panels to get rid of the gap. on the bumper i have the gap was about 1 inch, it was well notice able. i dont think it is made for the mk2 cos the nova that advertises the bumper is a mk1.

oh right. mine looks really bad at the moe. if u look at my feature u'll see. was it hard to do? ive got to mesh mine as well it looks sh1t but i had to put it on coz the orignal bumper was peelin were it wasnt sprayed properly! :roll:

oh yeh sorry mate it is still being verified coz i put some new pics on yesterday. i thought it would b done by now. its in the 2l 16v section under michaels 2l16v
