depends what you want it for.... Kent AST2 does the business between 3000 and 7000 (?) if u got twin 40s we are on 200 air jets 105 mains f47emulsion 28 chokes 45 aux venturi 59f21 idle 150 needle vale 30 accellerator jet .... got a progression fault ... prabably too lean ....

i cant find any spec on the sri cam but would guess it is the best as the 82bhp would suggest, the best cam from spec is the 1.4sr cam... but as i said the c14se doesnt give much spec anwhere...

Mr cormac.

if you are simply after a mild gain from cam changes, then i belive you have the "best" one in your engine. a gsi cam might offer marginal improvements, but i doubt youll notice, since the sri and gsi engines are soooo similar (bar the capacity).

unless you wish to go for an aftermarket cam, then id leave it.

for a reasonable aftermarket cam for a standard engine then a kent AST1 will give you a mild improvement, an AST2 would need reasonable modification to you intake system to enable a good gain.

its down to money at the end of the day lol

Dave448, dont just quote bits of your car, as many people will not have a clue what your on about. i politely cautioned you before. you appear to know what your on about, please be helpful if you can, no cryptic help lol

ast1 or ast2 won't be as suitable as the nvo61 cam as the ast's are meant for carburrated engines.

Go check kentcam website for details.

if your running a C14SE (sri engine) on a 1300 inlet and carb it isn't going to be a C14SE.

It will be a 14S.
