Early Novas i.e A and B reg had the wiper on the other side so it has prob got an early tailgate on it or a european one as i think these have the wiper on the other side

could be ENTIRELY wrong.

but the plate is irish is it not?

the bootlid is a mk2 one - it has the lock / grab handle.

early models had push button only.

my sugestion is it has a foreign bootlid i.e back to front. can we class ireland as "abroad" ? maybe overseas? :lol:

foreign cars have everything reversed. the wiper is on back to front as it wipes the area the driver needs to see most.

just in case someone reads my post wrong. i believe its an english shell i.e right hand drive, but foreign boot lid i.e left hand drive.
