well got this stereo with my car yesterday. but it is one of these flip down jobs, but it does not come down properly you need to muck about abit to make it open. just wondering if i could take it aprt clean and put back together? or could get mah mate to do it!!

if i can take a engine apart and build it back up nah bother, then i should be able to do this, but tell me if im going to get stuck if iam!!

You have to be very delicate! Little soldered wires everywhere etc...

Once done it would prob work fine, but be careful, this is from past experience :wink:

somthing else!! in the car i have some kenwood speakers in the back where the standard ones would go. would it be worth me replacing them for beter quality ones?? seen set of sony ones in halfords today but they were ?50 :o :o

if u do want to replace them then go ahead but have a look on ebay or online ice shops and u shud b able to get better ones than the sonys for that price!

which ones for ?50 theres several? ive got the sony xplod 6x9's they were ?50 and are amazing speakers.

nah mate they are the litlle component speakers, they are sony infinity or somthing?? (dont know much about stereo pish so sorry lol) :oops:
