it has probobly been asked before but just wondering if the zorst and k&n from my old 1.3sr would fit on a 1.4sr? do the have the same downpipe n the zorst and do they have the same carb?

K&N will fit and so will the exhaust aslong as you got the manifold to middlebox section from the 1300.

1300 and 1400 sr systems are identical

thats where you are wrong.

the 1400sr and 1300sr exhaust manifold and the pipe that goes to the middle box is different to each other.

I knew this because i had to get the suitable pipe for the 1400sr manifold on my engine.

I also just checked the EPC and it verify's this.

i have a janspeed system from the manifold back, so i will need i 1.3 manifold if i want to put it on a 1.4sr?
will this restrict the engine at all, is the 1.4 just a different shape or is it a different size too?

1.3 & 1.4 are same... system wise... not sure about manifolds think they are different

also the early 1.3 have the small 1.2 carb so the early type k&n wont fit

the systems are the same - manifolds as snowface said could be difrent. dont know.

ive fitted an exhaust system of a 1.6 onto all of the OHC engines - so i know there interchangeable! (excluding dodgy cat things that stink of egg)

that 1400 4-2-1 manifold i had off you mike is different to a 1300.

1 thing is the 2 bolts whith the springs around the outside are longer on a 1400.

On the EPC the 2 sr manifold's have different part numbers also.

Oh yeah thats right, the gasket between manifold and the Twin pipe section is different on the 1400 to the 1300.
