GTE slipping???

new prob for you to think about!

when setting of of when booting my car it kind of slips and lacks powers mostly when at 40 mph then speed up quickly. if i am traveling at same speed all time its not a prob just when i want to speed up or set off!
is it timing or cluch?? or something more worrying??
please help

take the dizzy cap off and take the rotor arm off. look at the weights and the springs? if there dodgy or spring is broke theres your problem.

Clutch slipping???????

Sounds like the clutch is worn, it doesn't pull when pulling off or accelerating but is fine once moving.
