cable????

right i am going to be running 2x 600 watt amps
i currently have phoneox gold 4 gauge cable in.

is this going to be ok to use or should i go to the 8 gauge cable?

IIRC, 4AWG can cope with 120a for runs not exceeding five metres.

2x 600 = 1200w total, assuming this is RMS and you're only supplying 12v, this will be a current draw of 100a, so 4AWG is fine.
