i've got a set of bilstein streetline shock's(the black one's) for my nova. i need to get some springs now. which one's should i get.
i only want -30/40mm, but i want good quality ones that will give good handling. any idea's?
cheers

Eibach do good springs (in mages from a few years back they are about ?100 though, but hey they might have come down)
also Koni
i was thinking about eibach but just wanted to know what else is good

Got spax on mine, 60 rear 40 fronts and handles like a dream, werent all that expensive either.
The shocks themselves are spax also. On full stiffness the handlings great but you feel every nut and cranny in the road and feel like ya heads gonna go through the ceiling! :o
i got 60mm alround on mine there spax like the dampers spot on handles amazin
when i order my springs which model of nova do i ask for.
mine's a 1.2 with a 1.4 engine. the shocks were all under the same part number
Go for the 1.2 ones.
I've got spax ones on mine (with spax RSX shocks), little bumpy but great handling.
Go for the 1.2 ones.
any reason why???
if you wanna spend less then GMAX springs are very good for the money, offer i nice stiff but progressive compression rate. A little too hard for my liking tho, crack your teeth on a pebble !
eibach sprong for a nova are now dicontinued. i think i'm gonna get some spax.

Wise choice mate. If ya unsure of them just pop round mine and ill take ya out in it to see what ya think to them.
Gaz
couldn't get any spax off the shelf so i got Gmax springs from roadrunner in nott's. -30/40mm for a base nova, the -30 gte one's needed shorter dampers.
i fitted them today, with a set of bilstein front dampers and poly bushes all round. i just need some new rear dampers now. think i'm gonna get koni adjustables. it handle's better now even though the ride seem's softer.
