MOT FAILURE OR NOT?

my mate reckons my cars an MOT failure if i drill thru the boot floor of it to fit a centre exit universal b/box. is this true?

I can't see it as a failure, unless you drill through something like a major structural support.

It shouldn't be a failure through the boot floor.

no its just gonna be a whole thru welded sheet steel that now replaces the wheel well with a strengthinin bar on the inside probably.

i cut my boot floor out 4 my central exiting box

I had 3 holes in my boot floor for my old zorst, passed an MOT twice!

as long as the hole doesnt start to corrode should pass fine

make sur u put some paint or even better anit rust round the holes to stop it from corroding tho

it wont fail unless the wholes are rotten. replacing the spare wheel well wont make any difference either.
