cavalier / calibra DID (Dual informtation display)

normally it displays the temperature in the top, but ive got the bumper off at the moment and thats where the sensor is so its reading zero as its disconnected.

took a bit of work to get it to fit.

havent seen it before - hoping its one of my "original" mods.

people do the corsa one, not seen the cav 1 before.

on the mk2 you can remove the binacle thing where ive mounted it to. thats what i had to do.

its a panel mount LED with surround, i was just going to put it in the lip of the binacle - most obvious place, but with a tiny steering wheel such as me you cant see it kinda thing.

where the light is now and where i have my seat, its just below the rim of the steering wheel.

the LED is that bright though it lights up the majority of the binnacle area - especially in the dark. so you sure as hell no when to change :lol:

Don't suppose you could do a how to for the Clock would you (notice how everyone's concentrating onb that rather than the real reason of the post!) would be a good project for Rally Car 2, I run a Mazda 121 Digi clock in Rally Car 1, which is good but doesn't look half as 'meant to be' as that and is a pain to fit.
