i know a fella giving away a LOT of stereo speakers...ones that just came off his hi -fi...
so i was thinkin, could i take the speakers outta them and install them into the car in any way...?
or is this just stupid?? :?

one thing wiv house speakes is they run at a different ohmage(4ohm or 8ohm cant rember wich one but but car audio runs at the other one),i will work but won't sound as good as proper car audio speakers tho(one thing to bear in mind)

car speakers which are meant to be run from a 12volt soure ie head unit run on 2oh but home hold speakers will run on 6 to 12 dep on amp and soure. the speaker will not let the current flow thought as it should and my damage your head unit. i wouldnt bother. save them for your bedroom!!!! big bass in your room!!
