XE wont idle

Scenerio is ... havnt driven car for 2 weeks .. was fine before.
Drove today and its just dying tries to idle at like 400-500 rpm then just dies ... cant find any air leaks and ive cleaned the filter and reoiled etc.. still no good.

Any ideas anyone ... i dont have a clue about the running of a xe btw !

do they have an idle control valve? try adjusting that

they dont adjust, but they do require cleaning every now and then

yup clean the begger out that should solve it if it doesnt i had a problem like that and it turned out to be the cts changed that and it idled fine

right ill get the old haynes manual out .. . cos i dont have a clue how to go about cleaning it lol

And whats a CTS ???? crank sensor ?????
