I'm in the middle of doing my GSi dash conversion on the saloon, so far i've got to a stage where the dash is in and i'm connecting the switches. The headlight switch i've connected up and works fine by matching the colours, but the foglight doesn't work and i have a wire spare...
from the car comes brown, grey/green, blue/black - these i've connected to the mk2 switch by matching the colours. There's also a brown and grey/green wire that go to the "on" light for the old foglight, at the moment i've left these as they are, still connected to that light. From the mk2 switch tho i have a spare yellow/grey wire which i've not connected as i don't know where to put it! Could this be why the foglight doesn't work? If so, where should it go?
