? :o
ditch it and buy a bigger engine :P
i don't really think theres much you can do to the 1.0
i did see some +1mm high compression pistons on ebay for the 1liter before lol
The 993cc engine is unfortunately fairly untunable, If you feel your car is lacking a bit of performance simply try a good service (oil, air filter, leads etc). This should sort out any small flat spots you have on acceleration
Of course, with enough money anything is possible and if you want to have a go at modifying the cylinder head you could do worse than taking a leaf out of any mini owners book.
There are a great many articles on tuning small cc pushrod engines in mini circles that could be translated to the nova small block.

you can mod a K&N bolt on
but i would like to know where can i get the blue HT leads from?
tbh ht leads wont make a blind bit of difference regards performance they just look nice
if u want some i got mine from motorworld they were expensive to say the least
or halfords sell 8mm ones

there are 2 diff dizzy's onm Nova's i think.
Bosch (black cap)
and the other one, delco or something (redcap i think)
mines a black cap.
Yeah thats right,
most early models had a Delco-Remy dizzy
Most newer models had a Bosch one.
