2.0 conversion

i have a 1.0 ltr nova shell which i am planning to put a 2.0 into , i have been looking throught this forum and valvers.com.

i have read that you have to modify the engine mount and a 1.0ltr and a td.
the thing is i dont know whats has to be modifyied/done to the mount or can u just buy the mounting kit

As for what needs to be done just go to conversion specialist garage and they should do all the engine bay strengthening etc, for a price.

if i am right i think that the 1l nova only has two engine mounts and to have the 2l fitted you have to add another engine mount.....just something i remebering reading on hear, never actually owned one myself.

1.0 is same as others... d/td need a mount welding on

yer ive never worked out why ppl keep mentioning the engine mounts on the 1.0

the only thing i can think of is maybe the engine mounting BRACKET is slightly different on the 1.0 due to it being an OHV lump??

i know my 1400 bolted streight up without any issue although i was using the original bracket off the 1.4
