Kit Question

I've been considering buying this kit, whats sorta quality is it. dont it fit well? anyone had experience fitting it?

Bodykits never fit well,
they all need modding.
And every mould is different, you just have to test fit them before deciding what you need to cut etc.

front and sides look nice but the back is a no no. that bumper is minging. even the abyss one looks better than that.

Front bumper is Batsport bumper (well copy of it), rear is fusion, dunno about the sideskirts tho, M3 maybe? I think you can get that front bumper elsewhere with foglights as well.

hey i recently bought the rear bumper. the fit is sound although mine didnt come with any fittings.so im hoping to use the original nova mounting brackets.

but i am a fan of standard cars tbh ... not to keen on body kits, but this one looks quite tidy ... nice choice of colour too!!

does ant 1 know wat the colour on the car with th kit on. trying to get same colour for mine but nt sure wat colour it is.
my printer ain good either so cdnt take a pic to paint shop.

Same thoughts as the majority. Front bumper looks good, sideskirts dont quite look like the M3 replicas that I had, but do look BMW'ish, the rear bumper is not to my liking.

the rear is really bad 3 of my mates have had it, well one got it and didnt like it so its been passed about a bit and no one i know likes it much, the rest of the kit is nice though

i got the bumers in garden and no they dont fir straight away, well mine dont, think mine might be the fusion tho which people have had problems wiht, i gota cut it a bit and re shape it slightly by heating and bending to get it to fit better, not hard just time consuming, but its a smart kit

Is that good to do with fibreglass? How far can it be shaped, and how well does it retain the new shape?

providing its fibre glass it worked well, not completley there gota tweak it a little but its held fine, once u got the shape put from fibre glass matting adn resin on to give it more strength :)

I know this is reaaaally old but I like the rear bumper because its big and its the only one that looks good with a big front bumper like mine and will make the car all one level :D

i know im opening myself up here for a piss-taking but i bought that rear bumper from a pic on net, not one of it actually fitted, just pic of the bumper. And it seemed to look good. however it never even made it on the car, coz when i offered it up i decided it looked bloody AWFUL!

Which brings me on to my next point kids - sober shopping works the best :lol:
