im having a bit of a problem with the left front wheel. jacked it up the other day and i am able to wobble the wheel, i changed the cv joint about a month ago and didnt notice anything then. I had some tyres fitted and i dont think they are properly balanced, altho the garage say the problem is the hub moving.
ive made sure the hub retaining nut is tight but the wobble is still there, the car also wobbles slightly doing 40mph but i think this is due to incorectly balanced wheels.
Any help would be much appreciated.

cheers

no, that part goes through the hub which sits in the bearing.

get haynes out and have a look.

you need a hydraulic (or fly) press to do them properly, i dont care what anyone else says on here about using hammers etc as thats jsut asking for trouble
