tune the 1.6 or valver it?

as above not to sure on what to do (im just thinking about it) bear in mind i have a boot full of ice (not the frozen stuff!) was also looking at turboing the 1.6, let me know what u think

It'll cost a lot more to get "valver" power from the 1.6 than it would to just buy a valver. It depends what you want the car for. If your not fussed about handling (even though handling on the 2.0 isnt that bad), then go straight for a valver. If you want to stick with the lighter engine, the 1.6 is a good engine. Turbo, or carbs, it's up to you, but it wont be cheap.

go for the twins 40's route on the 1.6. sounds awesome :D

Best of bot worlds a tuned 1.6 16V, lighter so you keep the handling and still makes good power.

get a 2.0 16v. its pretty obvious your not going to be worried about weight or drivability (ice and big rims) so go for that.

cheers guys, theres a guy up here that does hill climbing in a 1.4sr, and i kid u not this thinks keeps up wi valvers like, its mental, lots of work done to it me thinks, i will prob go wi the valver just for ? sake
