1.6 gte cutting out

after fitting a 1.6 lump in my nva i have started to notice once i drive aronud for a bit and have to stop eg. at lights or what ever the engine cuts out never stalls tho just stops and then picks up againg it never sounds bad or as if something has gone wrong just cutts out and starts back up again???
any ideas??

so when you stop at lights or somthing does it actually stop and u have to restart it or does it only nearly cut out?
my engine does something similar, i think its coz its heavily modified and the standard ecu couldnt keep up with the quicker reving, so when i stopped quickly, it cut out. if i heeled and toed however, to keep the revs up slightly, it was fine.
i think you need to do a little investigating to see if it is at certain speeds, or if your slowing too qiuckly or something etc etc.
