1992 K Reg (August 1992) Nova GSi 43,000 miles
This car has had 1 previous owner, in his 3 years of ownership he travelled 9,000...
I originally went to look at this car becuase at the time mine was a standard Nova SR.... i was after a Diamond Black Metallic GSi.... so i managed to persuede my mum to buy it who had a Nova SRi, she loved it and we bought it!
We've had the car since about august/september 1995, the car has always been kept garaged.
The car is in showroom condition, everything about the car is standard other than a Cliffford Concept 50, we had G Force Sport 2000 disks & pads put up front (cheaper & better than O.E stuff) and we had the front section center box and rear section of the exhaust replaced with a JP Stainless Steel custom made item. the interior is immaculate.
About 2/3 years (i will have to check) my mum had a minor bump in the car, someone ran into the front corner (drivers side) the car was repaired but while it was in i got them to sort a few bits. so in all it had... 2 new front wings, 2 new inner wings,new bonnet, complete front panel, grill bumper, a rear panel also... (this car was put on a jig before ask to be checked, just in case and it was fIne). We have pictures of it before it was repaired.
At the time of it going to be repaired i wanted to try and get a full respray done, but my folks wouldn't!!! The reason being it was getting the traditional red paint fade!! Anyway 12 months later Adrain Culley kindly offered his services and gave the car a full repsray, it has had all the original GSi stickers put back on the doors and tailgate, the only thing we didnt bother with was the black vinyl on the boot.
The car is as you see it now!!! its been in the garage for the last 12 months at my folks house, its rigged up on one of those Draper charges to keep the battery in good shape. Thats just reminded me, we got a new Vauxhall Car battery for it, its also had the head gasket done and a new water pump.
The car is turned over quite often and always fires up first time!
This car needs to go to a good home, preferably someone in the club who will keep it in good shape. We are selling it simply because its not getting used as my mum has now got a Renault Scenic....I considered buying it but i know i would end up throwing money at it!!
