Todays bits with pics more pics added 23/04/04

Went down to the Vaux MD towers today to buy bits off Rob Fairbrother. Brought some 330mm willwood 4 pots, bosch 044 fuel pump, new intercooler, new rockercover, AP racing twin plate clutch and collected my intectors vaux md got in for me. Here are some pics of it all:

Now i can drop the gearbox back out and start proper on it all.

When i can be arsed! lol

Getting just a few final parts together now that rob is sourcing for me while i bolt most of it together then i will just add the final parts and bolt it together which i am going to start doing on tuesday and wednesday this week :lol: Bits like fitting the fuel pump will have to wait till i can roll the car around then i can get to the back of the car to fit the new fuel pump, fuel lines and quick reliese fittings.

List of thigs to do are:

Drop the gearbox out, fit clutch and refit box.
Send the manifold to JP exhausts,
Make oil feed,
Fit new brakes on the front,
Remove dash,
Rewire behind the dash as its a fucking mess,
Get cam cover painted,
Cut loads of braided line up and fit fittings.

Recon it might be done now in 4-6 weeks on my part then i just need some paint work done.

Nope, needs mapping as well so aiming for the shows later on in the year if i can make them. Rick

Here are some fresh pics from this morning, i have been trial fitting the bits and they all fit no hassle. Cannot wait to get the manifold back from JP and the turbo all bolted up.

Been working on it today, off to have some parts fabricated next week then i can get on and assemble it. The bailey header tank needs some aeroquip fittings fitted to it and the intercooler needs some new tabs welded to it so it will fit then i can start to put it together. Rick

Thanks karl and jules. Dropped the bits off at the fabricators today to be sorted and took the grinder to my bailey header tank :lol: and chopped the feeds off it from tur turbo and the inlet manifold.

I would love to go agains him up a quarter mile but he has sold his car and now owns a VX220 turbo with the same turbo and wastegate i am now running. Rick

Had a big rectangular one made by forge motorsport, this has been sold to another Novaload member and this one brought. Reason for the swop is this one is slightly more efficient as its bar and plate design not fin and tube but its all relevant really and this one cost quite a lot more than my old one.
