summit always seems to give up on my car of late, last week it was the dash bulbs (still aint replaced yet) now this week? the back box bracket!

drove up to tamworth today with a mate to get out of brum for a bit!

thought, this dont sound right, seems the welding on the back box has just give up, as my bro welding the bar form the standard box onto the new box, so now theres no mount and ive had to hang it with rope which isnt going to last long!

what a mess!

never gonna trust my brothers welding skills ever again!

I snapped my o/s driveshaft clean in half :-(

Nearside brake caliper seized
Stop/tail bulb needs replacing
Back tyres need replacing soon
Tax up end of May
Both arches need cutting and replacing after the winter


In fact I don't think I can be arsed anymore, new car in summer; maybe Nova maybe not

hole in 3 arches
slight hole in floor near passenger door (1cm wide by 4cm)
Hole in boot floor above exhaust backbox. (wont effect MOT tho,as its more then 30cm away and its a subframed car)
Bottom balljoint on front left needs replacing.
tyres under flated
slight Oil leak from gearbox (can stay like that till it needs replacing, not worth efford fixing)

1st 4 things are priorty for MOT and getting car on road atm.

mine two! i just changed my cv joints and boots on both sides and now both bearings have gone.. Why do they do that?

My backbox isnt attached at the moment after a nasty encounter with a speedbump woth a fat bloke in the car

my paint is all f****d and the back suspension creaks a little too noisy for my liking. The enigne feels slower the warmer the car gets. front o/s wheelbearing is shot to shit, there is more but i cant be bothered to write it all down!!!

Woohooo thought id donate my joy of problems:

Last night about midnight started hearing the dreaded 'knocking noise' from under the bonnet. Then there was a noticable power drop in acceleration so crawled home for about 40 miles, anyway started it up this morning and i swear, i have never ever seen sooooo much blue smoke coming out of the exhuast! I was standing at the front of the car and there was that much my eyes started watering from the smell!
It sounded like a trackter at idle and is fcuked!

So am on the prowl for a new engine and now am gonna be losing afew points this year may drop a bigger engine in, who know.

Right now though am gonna go tot he pub and drown my sorrows :cry:
