help me car wont start

got a 1.2 B reg nova used to start but now it wont turnover, bought new head gasket, dizzy cap, rotor arm and ht leads n still no luck! its pops sumwhere in the engine when trying to start. really dont know whats wrong with it any ideas????

if u mean it turns over but wont start?
is it not gettin a spark or is it not getting fuel?
try the coil or ingnition module, fuel pump

you have put the leads on the spark plugs?

nah its not the battery flat thats brand new aswel, havent checked the spark will do 2morro i 4t it maybe loosing compression from sumwhere thats why its pops

i had the same problem with my nova gsi all i done is take the 13mil nut from under the dizzy cap took one of the leads off the spark plug and then switch the ignition on and turn the bottom of the dizzy slow and it sparked then i checked the cam on the side nearest to the dizzy and it was snapped on the bearing try that but just take off the rocker cover to check.

found out it ent sparking at all will try movin the dizzy cap thing talor cheers. any more things i can try no i know that it aint sparking???

could be the coil, i dont know how to check that though

check that the lead from the coil to the distributor cap is connected properly. If it is, ya plugs might be f**ked or ya coil. If it still wont have it, try a set of new plugs, if that doesnt work, get ya'self a new coil.

SORTED MY CAR NOW! cheers 2 ya all for helpin got myself a new coil n it started fine buzzzin!!
