Hi, i need to change the pads on my 1.3 SR but am having trouble tapping the brake pin out which holds in the retaining springs. Can anyone tell me how to get this bluday thing out? Cheers.

I use a drill bit (knacker the bit completely). Pick one that is exactly the same diameter as the pin.

One hole is bigger than the other so make sure you knock them out the right way. (Not sure which way it is though)

i just got my ones out, i used a screw driver and it got stuck in the top hole, but then just got on a lathe and made up a shaft at 6mm dia and got the screw driver out again. so just make a shaft up 6mm dia or use a 6mm drill piece.

use a 6 inch nail with the tip chopped off and hammer it thru

next time your in a motor factors that do draper tools, their tool is about ?2. it's nothing special really, but does make it easier. 6inch nail is good as it won't matter if it bends etc
