Creeking / squeekin noise?!?!?!

Hi all,

I hav this problem with my 1.2 Nova, and I think it's been there since i bought it..
Every time I go over a bump / rut in the road i get a fairly loud creeking noise coming from the back of the car, sounds to be around the parcel shelf / boot area???

Anyone else had similar problem?
It's doin ma nut in!!!! Especially with the state of the roads around here :o all the way to college / into town constant creek, drivin me mad..

help appreciated
oh btw, ive trie bouncin on the car lol to see if that made the noise, but no luck.

I had a creaking/squeeking noise on mine every time i went over a rough patch... turned out to be the parcel shelf rubbing against the supports! Bit of rubber padding and it was sorted.

Easy way to test that theroy would be to take the parcel shelf out and drive it down the road - if it stops it related to the parcel shelf - if it still does it then it's something else.
