Got my new engine (Calibra Turbo)in my car, started it on Thursday lastweek finished it off lastnight. Got a few problems with it, Engine Management light is on, so it's cutting the boost back a bit, and I've not got a fan on it at the moment, slimline fan coming on Wednesday. Seems pretty quick as it is and the dump valve sounds sweet. Sure gets a few heads turning though town!!!

hows it compare to the old engine a lot quicker?

Not sure what power it's running at the moment,should be about 204bhp though, Standard intercooler is tucked behind the raditor at the moment so it will be getting warm air in.
Ian, the Stoke PNG meeting is this sunday if you fancy popping down...

sounds cool... ha if me and dicko are anywhere near mc d's at the same time as u again (dunno if u remember from a coupla months back) then I wudn't mind a squizz an'all :)

Got it running right lastnight, switched the 2 pipes round that go to the boost controller. Oh my god its scary now!!!!! ECU light is still on though..

not managed to flash it out yet, got 2 wires for the ECU, do you know which one to use to flash it??

brown yellow to ground me thinks
normal running should be brown/white to ground
