Blown amp? help please..

I was running 2 200watt 6x9's off a 450watt 2 channel amp, and all was working fine, then i get into my car today and one speaker gives a crackling sound and the other doesnt work, so i hooked up some spare speakers to the amp and it does the same..does this mean my amp is blown or could it be something else?

have you checked that the wires going into each speaker output are3 ok.

check the wires for the entire length. If they look dodgy, replace them. Normally when the amp goes you get no sound but a nasty smell.
