i made 3 cuts in mine

don't cut them.

donkey!

the paint will crack when you hammer them, if you really have to do it your self then grind the arches off but not too much as the rears will split.

Remember to cover over any exposed metal to stop rust!!

Or you could get it done professionally!

i thought the paint would crack, but had 2 cause it was cutting my tyer up
but it didnt, guess i was lucky
best plan is 2 get a bodyshop 2 roll them up flat tho

the paint usually cracks if uve already got a slight build up of rust behind the paint on the arch.if ur car is fairly rusty around that area its likely to crack

the paint is made weaker by the rust

The cheapest and easiest way 2 sort the arches out is to cut it in 3 places, then hold a small block of wood with a rag around it up against the body on the outside, then heat up the lip with a heat gun and gradually fold the lip upwards using a rubber mallet, and dont hit in 1 place constantly, work the lip up evenly and some of the lip will just rot and some will go up nicely... but hey it feckin works
