Just thought id give an update on the car. The shells finally back from being sprayed with the bumpers, bonnet, doors and tailgate next week. Also the antiroll bar has been powdercoated. The F13 gearbox has been stripped and rebuilt and the engine has been stripped cleaned and with the block and sump painted, and the bottom end is put back together. Next stage is the do front and rear disc conversions during next week and then put the engine in bout 2 weeks. Pics on profile http://www.novaload.net/features/viewfeature.php?ref=1308

can i ask just how much of a rebuild was done to the gearbox??

eg just pulled appart, leaving the shafts and gear inplace, and resealing the plates back in.

or a total stripdown and rebuild from scratch?

just intrested thats all

nice work

Very nice mate, this car will be the dogs danglies when finished. I respect you for doing most of the work yourself. It anoys me when people buy a car to mod and stick it in a garage and pay ???'s to get a load of work done then say stuff like these been loads of work put into this car bla bla bla bla bla. SAXO drivers are the worst, every garage i pass theres always a saxo in getting a combat kit fitted and some lexus lights (tits).

At the end of the day my view is have a go at soming and do your best, if you still cant do it then get someone to do it, at least youve had a bash at it.

Once again mate respect
