i got my car back on the road yesterday after 4 months of being sat on the drive. it passed its MOT at the first attempt and i got 12 months tax. so today was car day, i washed + polished it then went out for a quick drive. I'd notdriven it since christmas and had forgotten how much fun the car is, especially the noise it makes.
I'm going to velos on tuesday to get it set-up. it made 80 bhp last time, but had a 1300 manifold on a 1400 head. this time it has a SRi head which has been matched to the 1300 manifold and had some gasflowing work done. i'm not really bothered about what figures it get's though because it drives great.

I was busy on my car also. With some help from a couple of lads and the use of CP's barn, we were able to get the head, cam, cam housing and rocer cover fitted to the block. Just a few more bits to go on it, then it should be ready to go in the car (once its back from the bodyshop).

Its been totally stripped down and rebuilt. So it looks clean now, but wont stay that way for long, lol.

jim the v6 plant that is being closed down by me couldn't get a engine looking that sweet.

i too started working on my project. although i didnt get much done i got a lot mapped out in my mind etc and ideas to flow from that

Didn't get much done? Stu, you gutted a car within a couple of hours, lol. Unfortunatley the steering wheel got in your way, lol.
