connecting neon's

I'm away to put small neon's under the front footwell but I'm not sure which wire to connect them to ,what is the best wire( live) to use on doing this Cheers

first u have to determine which is live and which is negative

simply put the wirers accross ur battery that is if there not marked up red+ black-

to connect em up depends how u want it switched
ie only when the cars runnin or be able to switch it on any time

but either way id take the feed to the switch from ur where ur head unit is
u have both perminant and ignition live there

If you want to switch the neon off at any time then you need to wire a permanent live to one side of a switch and the live for the neon to the other side of the switch.That will turn the neon on/off.
But as Epo said you can wire it off an ignition switched live which will make it so it only works when the ignition is on.
You could use any live(permanent) wire in the car,but the head unit has both permanent and ignition, and its the closest feed to you.
