Car wont restart

I got my car out after sitting for 9 months it has been started and was running a bit ruff due to the carbs not being tuned, i got it about 6 miles home and just as i came into my area it died. Its turns over but wont do the final start, Any ideas? check Spark Plugs and i think fuel is getting through, Is it the carbs not being tuned that made it fail? havent charged the batt yet so could be that?

could be loads of things u need to be more specific, more detail...
like have u got fuel in ur tank
then check for a spark
then check for fuel, u could of flooded it if u left the choke on etc..
a dead battery wont stop a car from running as long as the alternator is working...

Make sure you have a good blue spark on your plugs and then try starting it with full throttle incase it is flooded.
