!!!!1.6 gte water pump!!!!

I have just done a 1.2 to 1.6 engine conversion and i am wonderin or askin all those 1.6 owners out there if there are two wires on the fuel pump because i think there are two wires form the wirin loom that want to go to it. Got one on that is a def for it and it looks like this other cud go on it but there is no wire to join it too ... it broke off. Can anyone help me out here?? i think the wire is green n yellow or blue and yellow i cant remember?? Any help would be great.

the fuel pump has only got the red/blue wire going to it. the earth is just a short wire from the pump to the shell.
the blue/yellow is from something like the oil gauge sender, but I can't remember. use the wiring diagram from the haynes (1988/1989) the wiring is correct, just a bit of a pain to decypher.

will i need to attach the earth with to the pump shell somehow then???

he meant put the (-) polarity to the the shell of the car i.e ground or earth
