Fan switch Bypass

how do u by pass the fan switch so the fan stays on all the time, just incase my car has a fan switch problem and i am about to pick it up.

Well if you need the fan to stay on all the time then you have deffo got a problem.!

you just get a bit of wire and crimp a male spade terminal on each end, and just use it to replace the switch. I have never heard of a fan switch problem on these cars. It probably has an airlock in the cooling system, a knackered thermostat, or a head gasket failure. all are easily fixable.

make sure u put a 20 or 30 amp fuse in the circuit....You dont need as constant fan on a small lump though. i drove my 2l turbo 150miles without a fan by accident!

my 2litre turbo doesn't even have a fan. And i was sitting in traffic in southend on sat night for an hour. Just turn the fans on inside the car and the needle only just goes past half. Well below where the rad fan cuts in.
