About a 2 years ago i removed my engine from my gte, rebuild it, changed the clutch and put it back in again. Ever since the bloody clutch, has felt like theres a bag of sand is in the cable! Ive changed the cable twice, and ive even ran a little thickish stp oil down. No change. It seems to go away when the car has been stood for a week or so, but after 30 mins of driving its back. Is it something in the g/box? is there a bush on the box that needs changing?

All i know is its pi55es me off and makes 1 hel of a noise!

any suggestions :?:

sorry for the lengthy xplanation.

Is it a loud creaking noise? Mine does that, bit embarrasing when you relise it can be heard outside. Haven't got round to diagnosing it, def not the cable tho. its on/in the box

Ive just checked the pedal assy and the cable is clear of everything, just resting in the holder. Yes mecha its a loud creak, i knew it could be heard outside, Ive put a couple of drops of oil on the output brg/bush for the clutch arm. see how that goes. :?
