cant b that bad mate. i have a stupid amount of horse power (produced by my overtuned 2.0 calibra turbo lump) going to the front wheels with an lsd and u can put ur foot fully down in 3rd in the dry.........as long as you have a serious grip on the wheel!

Nice suspension ie coilovers, and decent tyres help alot

it aint worth doing 4wd conversion for a 1.6gsi

yeh, whack some quality tyres (A539s should do you) and you'll soon find it hard to spin! Hankkok do some belting budget tyres that wil stick like glue as well, put some on my last car and it felt so much better. Went round everywhere for hours trying to make it spin or slide, and failed!

get some avo coil overs or spax non adjustable if u wana do it to a budget. Spax will only cost bout 180 for full kit

then for tyres:

Pirelli P Zero; very good in wet/dry but v expensive. They use them on the back of lambo coutash 330mm wide!!!! i had them in 195mm on my old set of 16inch mas italy 5 spokes......they had put them on acidentley.

Toyo Proxes: Very good its what i use currently and i get them for 70 a piece in 205/40/17

Hanhook Ventus: Okay budget tyres pretty cheap but u may as well get proxes

F1 are same tread design as proxys.. but cost ?10-?30 more per tyre (usually) but with the strong ? v $ they are v good value i picked up 4 x 195/50 15 for ?180..... also the F1 are factory fit on the BMW M3 csl

Dont be daft ste........BMW contracted michelin to design and make a trye to suit the CSL: check out http://www.bmwworld.com/models/m3_csl.htm

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup .......They were developed especially for the CSL. 235/35 ZR 19 at the front and 265/30 ZR 19 at the rear. I no my cars mate. Those tryes cost a fcukin fortune the michelin factory is pretty close to where i am, me grandad used worked for them for 25 yrs and gets a big discount but tyres still cost a fortune.....i will use them for my next set though cus they are awesome.

Toyo Proxes use a softer compound which assists grip.

Voted the best after market tyre by most jap magazine for 1000bhp skylines/supras[/b]

Yeah, wider wheels, better tyres

New or PU tie-bar and inner mounting bushes

lightened and balanced right-foot.
