reverse light..M.O.T?

Seen a couple of people who have tinted the bottom half of their lights red.
does this pass the mot because the reverse light would be red....and what about the indicators? do they look red when flashing?

They're twin foglights. You don't need a reverse light to pass an MOT - but if you have one, it has to work. Not sure if it has to be a white light tho.

hes on about permanently tiniting them though.

Change the reverse light for another fog light (you'll have to wire it up of course ;)) to be on the safe side.

mine are red. indicators flash red/orange. reverse is white/red

no biggy really. doubt you'd get pulled for it. just swap them mot time

My girlfriends lights have got the red bottom half. It passed its mot last week no probs. Only thing is, it dont work so well in the dark. I think the fuzz would more likely notice red indicators. Just dont spray them too thick.

I was gonna say i thought you'd said before yours were blue epo. Hence the not sure if it has to be white light. I guess the reverse light is just left out the MOT completely then...?

i havent had a reverse light bulb in my nova since ive had it and its been through enough mots and they are tinted as well.
