which carb?

i'm putting the 1.4sr engine back in the nova very shortly an i can't decide what carbs to use:
i've got a 32/34 and a set of 40's sitting on me garage shelf but which should i use?
or should i use the 32/34 to run it in with, then change it over later?
any suggestions anyone??

T40s, unless your into road rallying where you'll have to use the 32/34.
